Lip Sync Battle V The Voice

Staff put on a fantastic end of year show for pupils as they hosted the 'Lip Sync Battle v The Voice'.

Pupils enjoyed a wonderful lunchtime show, hosted by Mr Ferguson, which saw our teachers sing, mime, dance and dress to impress.

The staff outdid themselves yet again, with six brave acts putting themselves forward and treating the Hutchie community to Coldplay, The Spice Girls and Bruce Springstein to name but a few.

All had tough scrutiny from our judges panel, headed by the Rector, Mr Gambles.

Despite it being a close call, Kingarth Street teacher, Miss Goff won after serenading the hall with 'Someone to watch over me' - winning by half a point!

The whole event was a new addition thanks to the Music Department providing live music.

Ticket sales raised a fantastic £1,328.30 , which went to our school charity, Calum's Cabin.

Both Mr Ferguson and Miss McGibbons thank all staff for their help and participation.
