Mountain Climbers

Senior pupils managed to raise £145 for the School charity by climbing Curved Ridge on the Buachaille Etive Mor at the head of Glen Coe.

Sissi (S6) accompanied by Lucy and Jillian (S5), who raised the fantastic amount for Calums Cabin, were joined by Biology teacher Mr Dyer.

The challenge is a 400m exposed and steep climb, given a rock climbing grade of “Mod”. The ridge reaches the summit of the Munro, Stob Dearg which is 1021m in height.

This was the first time any of the pupils had tackled a climb of this nature so it was a worthy challenge.
