Over the last few months we have been working to help transform the way we communicate with parents and manage important information about our pupils.
This has involved the implementation of a new, secure, web-based communication and parental information system, My School Portal, and we are delighted to announce that this will be launched to parents on Monday 21st of January. The portal's features will be released in phases over the coming months.
Through My School Portal parents and guardians will have secure, 24-hour access to personalised data for their children via one user name and password. From one intuitive, simple to use dashboard, parents will have instant and easy access to information about their children accessible via mobile, tablet or desktop device. Parents only see information that is relevant to their child/children. All communication will be displayed in the portal; emails will be stored in the 'My Email' section making it easy to receive and retrieve information quickly and easily.
Importantly, moving all personal data to a restricted user-only portal ensures that only the right people see the right information. This short video gives you an overview of how the Portal works.
