P1 Ceilidh

P1 enjoyed their very first ceilidh to celebrate Burns Night, learning about Scottish food, dance and songs.

Pupils enjoyed trying out traditional Scottish dance moves, reading poetry and eating haggis, neeps and tatties for their lunch.

Kicking off the festivities, Duncan played the Scottish drum, Lucy and April played the fiddle and Myles played the accordion, which was followed by P1 learning some Burns poetry, which they recited with gusto.

Very well done to all involved in making Burns Day such a success at Kingarth Street.
