P3s have been learning all about Christian weddings.
As part of the P3 curriculum pupils in each class held their own wedding ceremonies.
P3w's boys had a stag party where they played in Felix's garden on his zip slide and soaked each other with water pistols!
On the day, the bride, Grace Watson, looked gorgeous and her groom, Abdullah Sheikh hid his nerves well.
The ceremony ran without a hitch (apart from only having one wedding ring) by minister, Findlay Shaw.
The speeches were brilliant with the father-of-the-bride giving glowing praise of his daughter and the groom speaking well of his new wife and her bridesmaids. Finally, the best man’s speech was very funny as he recounted tales of the groom, all those years ago when he was a 'rascal' at nursery!
The dancing was tremendous and the cake topped the lot. An extra-special thanks has to go to the caterer, Ella, whose 3 tiered cake and gingerbread hearts were delicious.
It was a great way to learn the traditional way to celebrate a Christian wedding.
