P4's synagogue visit

P4 pupils enjoyed an informative visit to Garnethill Synagogue on Tuesday to learn more about Judaism.

The children asked lots of questions about the ornate building which is the oldest synagogue in Scotland. They also learnt a lot about the features of an Orthodox synagogue and were able to see the Ark and Torah scrolls.

The pupils listened intently to a fascinating talk about what happens in the synagogue each week.
