Kingarth Street played host to family and friends as they joined P5 pupils for Pirate Maths Day, donning impressive costumes and cracking codes to win treasure.
The annual maths challenge held last Wednesday saw Captain Mr Adams, Quartermaster Miss Munn and Firstmate Miss Ramsay lead the fun and games.
The day was supported by 6th year pupils who dressed to impress, alongside parents, families, friends and teachers.
Many puzzles were solved including how to make the best pirate jam, who should walk the plank first and what colours are included in a pirate friendship bracelet.
The event was rounded off with the most famous of pirate competitions- The Countdown Numbers Cup, which was borrowed from Channel 4.
P5 class representative Eilidh Fraser emerged as the winner with everyone rounding off the day with a Yo-Ho-Ho!
Very well done to everyone involved, see more from the day here.
