Pupils mark Dahl's 100th Birthday

The Primary pupils enjoyed a Roald Dahl-themed party to mark what would have been the author’s 100th birthday today.

Librarian Miss Peebles organised the fun-filled event over lunchtime and the children enjoyed munching on some BFG style snozzcumber sandwiches while they listened to music from the Roald Dahl film.

Some pupils made origami Mr Fox heads and coloured in characters from the books while others found a quieter corner to read their favourite Roald Dahl story.

The Kingarth Street library was a very busy place over lunchtime and everyone had fun celebrating the famous author’s work.
