GP Visit

P1 pupils enjoyed a workshop with current parent, Dr Iqbal, who visited on November 2nd to discuss her day to day life working as a GP.

Dr. Iqbal began her talk by explaining different parts of the body, discussing the function of the heart, brain, lungs and bones.

Following this, the pupils had a fantastic opportunity to try out a stethoscope, thermometer and blood pressure monitor.

At the end of the presentation, everyone had the opportunity to ask questions and received a sticker for being such a good audience.

The P1 class thanked Dr Iqbal for delivering such an interesting talk.
