S6 Leavers’ Ceremony 2019
The Leavers’ Ceremony held on Friday the 21st June was a fitting way to mark the longstanding association between the pupils and the parents at the school.
Claudia, accompanied by Mr Trotter, opened the ceremony by playing ‘Adagio’ from Sonata in G Minor’ by J.S. Bach on the saxophone.
Mr Gambles and the Year Tutor Team then each addressed the pupils, praising them for their significant contribution to the school and the local community.
Mr Gambles then presented each pupil with a Hutchesonian, a Hutchie Herald and a variety of other awards including academic, extra/co-curricular achievements and sports awards.
The ceremony concluded with pupils, parents and members of staff coming together for refreshments to bid their farewell.
We wish all of our 2019 School Leavers’ the very best of luck as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
