Summer Swimming Success

Three Senior swimmers performed very well at the Scottish National Summer Meet in Aberdeen, which invited the top twenty four swimmers in Scotland for each stroke and distance to compete.

Congratulations to Elise (S4) who won a gold and silver medal in the 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly respectively.

Sam (S2) also had a very busy and successful meet; he swam in a total of six events. He secured a bronze medal in the 100m freestyle but also won a gold in the 50m freestyle.

His time of 27.77s makes him the number 1 ranked boy for his age right now at this distance in freestyle. Becca (S3) was delighted to be invited to this prestigious event. We wish all of our Senior swimmers good luck in the forthcoming Glasgow Schools Championships and Scottish Schools Time Trials.
