Hutchesons’ After-School Care offers term-time childcare. The After-School club operates from a dedicated space within the Primary School and gives pupils the opportunity to play, learn and socialise with friends in a safe and supervised environment.
During the holidays, the After-School Care team runs the Hutchie Holiday Club which offers a range of activities. Please look out for our new Holiday Club site which will launch soon but in the meantime if you would like to attend one of our holiday camps, please complete the form below and a member of staff will get in touch to discuss your requirements.
The After-School Care (ASC) service, is open to all children attending the school from the age of 4 to 16 years. The service has its own dedicated building within the school grounds and operates daily between 3.10pm – 6pm.
Children have the opportunity to thrive in an environment that encourages exploration and creative expression by providing inspiring and enriching activities.
The ASC team provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment – care is based on the principle of putting the needs of your children first.
Under the guidance of dedicated, qualified staff, children have freedom to choose activities based on their individual interests and enthusiasms. The team strives to create a place that engages and nurtures children, providing a positive learning environment, with fun always at the core.
After-School Care has been registered and regulated by the Care Inspectorate since 2018.
Hutchesons’ After-School Care runs a holiday club during the February, Easter, Summer, and October breaks. The children enjoy a range of sports and crafting activities at our Beaton Road campus as well as regular visits to museums, parks and activity centres. All our staff are SSC registered and all have completed paediatric First Aid training.
