S3 and S4 Modern Studies pupils enjoyed learning about life as an MP after listening to a fascinating talk from Stewart McDonald on October 5th.
The pupils are currently learning about the UK Parliament as part of their course and Stewart tackled many interesting questions on the House of Commons, current affairs and his role as the SNP MP for Glasgow South.
The pupils and staff found the morning talk interesting and benefitted greatly from hearing about the realities of working as a local MP during the presentation.
The Modern Studies department thanked Stewart for his inspiring visit to Hutchesons’.
