We are delighted to share that four of our S4 pupils have been recognised in the Royal Scottish Geographical Society’s (RSGS) national mapping competition, Remap the Future.
The challenge invited young people to design maps imagining how communities might look in a more sustainable future.
The pupils’ submissions showcased exceptional creativity, strong visual design, and a thoughtful integration of environmental and social justice themes. Their work stood out among entries from across Scotland.
The highly commended pupils are:
- Sarah (S4) – Vertical Cities
- Shahadha (S4) – Metropolia
- Kirsten and Zoe (S4) – Remap the Future with Happiness
Their maps were selected as part of a group of 13 highly commended entries nationwide. As part of this recognition, the pupils’ work will be displayed at the Fair Maid’s House in Perth, featured on the RSGS website, and published in The Geographer, the society’s magazine.
This achievement highlights the pupils’ commitment to sustainability and their impressive ability to creatively reimagine the future of communities. Congratulations to all four pupils for their exceptional work and well-deserved recognition.
