Band Camp 2019

In August, 45 pupils from the wind band and string collective travelled to Dounans in Aberfoyle for a rehearsal weekend.

They were accompanied by music staff and tutors who conducted full and sectional rehearsals over the course of the weekend.

There were a lot of rehearsals but plenty time for fun too. The pupils enjoyed playing team games, a quiz, ceilidh and a karaoke session.

The group achieved a high level of music making, giving them a head start for the Scottish Concert Band Festival and school concerts.
