New CBT training endorsed

Depute Rector (Pastoral) Gillian Fergusson has helped design a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training course for teaching staff and the school is delighted the programme has now been endorsed by Education Scotland.

The course was co-constructed by the Scottish Council for Independent Schools (SCIS) and the South of Scotland Post Graduate Training Programme in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Mrs Fergusson was a member of the initial steering group; four of our Year Tutors have completed the course and two are part of this year’s cohort.

We are really pleased to have highly skilled staff providing excellent support for our pupils.
