Visit to the Physics Department at Beaton Road

The P1 pupils had a great time learning about experiments in the Physics Department at Beaton Road this week.

During a fun morning, they discovered that salt and water were best for melting ice monsters and slid ice along a track to see who got the highest score – 21 was the score to beat!

All of the children were amazed to see a globe spinning on magnets and a ball floating in the air. To top it all, they got to go on a flying machine and had lots of fun zooming through the corridors.

They enjoyed meeting the Secondary Physics staff and senior pupils on the day.
