Pupils from P4 – P7 were joined by their teacher Mrs Buchan and Head of Art and Design, Mrs Breckenridge, and they managed to create a wonderful video titled ‘Fairtrade story: A Fair Tale’, promoting the importance of Fairtrade cocoa in Ghana. They were also joined by Colleen Tait from the Scottish Fairtrade Forum.
They spent 2 full days in workshops in order to create all props, artwork, voice-recordings and animations to make this beautiful movie come together.
Starting last October, the pupils worked collaboratively to create and produce the heart-warming 4-minute animation which tells the story of a cocoa farmer in Ghana and the positive impact that Fairtrade has on his family and local community.
