Scotland Street School Visit

All four P6 classes experienced life as it would have been for a child in the Victorian times. Not many would like to travel back in time again!

They were shouted at by the ‘maam’ and had to answer very difficult Mental Arithmetic questions on slates. They then had to write using Copperplate with dripping fountain pens.

There was a collective sigh of relief when the bell rang to return them to 2018.
