In the summer term pupils are encouraged to make music in smaller ensembles and prepare pieces for solo performances in assemblies and concerts.
The Summer Evening of Music highlighted these soloists and ensembles involving our Primary 3 to Primary 6 musicians.
The programme was varied with performances from the Junior Chorus, Ceilidh band, String groups and Wind ensembles.
Many parents and friends were in attendance and there was standing room only for the evening’s entertainment.
Thanks must go to our instrumental and curricular music team who prepare and encourage our musicians throughout the year for these performances.
