Badminton Stars
Congratulations to our S2 pupils, Lucas and Thenoo who won the top prize at the Scottish Schools Badminton Union inter-area competition.
The pair were representing the Glasgow & North Strathclyde Badminton Group when they competed in November and they performed incredibly well alongside their teammates, ensuring the Glasgow Schools’ team retained the trophy.
Lucas and Thenoo regularly compete with pupils from other Glasgow schools and they were all very proud to lift the trophy.
In January, Lucas played a tournament in the Scottish Badminton Union 2008 age group in Wishaw and reached the Quarter Finals of the Boys’ Singles, and received runner up for the Boys’ Doubles.
Well done Lucas and Thenoo.
