Primary 7 Presents ‘The Greatest Show’

For two unforgettable nights, Kingarth Street dazzled as the circus rolled into town for the Primary 7 production of The Greatest Show!

Audiences were swept away by a high-energy spectacular packed with music, drama, comedy, dancing — and plenty of hilarious falling over — as Herbert Pickle’s Perambulating Palace of Performers set off on its latest circus adventure. But trouble was never far behind, with the wicked Colonel Obadiah Blastpipe and his gang of baddies determined to sabotage the show!

The cast delivered memorable performances from start to finish, singing their hearts out, cracking “hilarious” dad jokes, and bringing the story to life with fantastic acting and boundless enthusiasm. Combined with enthusiastic crowds and standing ovations each night, it truly was a magical carnival atmosphere to remember.

Our primary performers shared their thoughts after the performances:

“I was quite nervous, but as soon as the music started, everything just flowed naturally.”

“It was amazing! The grown-ups loved the dancing and singing.”

“The songs were so funny. I even spotted my dad laughing during the Artificial Teeth song!”

“Standing on stage under the bright lights felt really exciting.”

“Getting a standing ovation was an incredible feeling.”

The show’s producer, Miss Proctor, whose energy and dedication brought the production to life, along with our P7 teachers, said:

“It has been an absolute pleasure working with this group of pupils. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and talent have been outstanding, and they have worked tirelessly over the past few weeks in rehearsals. We are all immensely proud of what they have achieved.”

Congratulations to our incredible P7 pupils on their spectacular performance of The Greatest Show – two unforgettable evenings filled with confidence, creativity, and talent.
