Fairtrade Fortnight 2019

The Fairtrade Committee at Kingarth Street has had a busy couple of weeks organising events, quizzes and an assembly to mark Fairtrade Fortnight.

The focus this year has been on cocoa and children have learnt about the importance of buying chocolate carrying the Fairtrade logo to ensure cocoa farming is sustainable and farmers are paid a fair price for their hard work.

Very well done to our pupils involved!
