Skiing Success

Our senior ski team finished in gold medal position in the Scottish School Ski Cross event last Wednesday and Murray W finished in silver medal position in the individual S1-S3 male category.

The school entered three teams of 4 racers compete against the clock on a technical course full or rollers, bumps, flat turns and banked corners. Our racers performed extremely well and all raced with great enthusiasm and skill. Our Senior team, consisting of Finlay T (S6), Campbell W (S4), Murray W (S2) & Robert M (S5) were very impressive and claimed a gold medal. This is a tremendous achievement against schools from all over Scotland with 160 competitors.

Our other two teams also performed well, the Hutchie S1-S3 A team (Christopher H, Struan F, Rory F & Logan J) finished a credible 7th and our B team (Michael L, Mariam H, Felix T & Eilidh M) finished 20th.

Well done to all.
