Following the meal, the Rector, Colin Gambles, and Director of Sport, Eric Milligan, presented our pupils with their captaincy badges.
Mr Milligan told the pupils: “A Sport Captain is not only about being a great athlete but is someone that embodies the true meaning of the word team. Someone who pulls teammates together to help one another be the best they can. Someone who inspires and someone who not only commits and works hard, but who makes sport an enjoyable experience.”
Congratulations to our new Sport Captains, all S6, who display a zest and joy for sport, making them ideal role models to our athletes.
