Harvard Summer School Star

Congratulations to Keira (S5) who is set to attend the prestigious USA Harvard University Summer School to study Chemistry.

Keira has been accepted for the prestigious USA Ivy League Summer Sessions at both Harvard University in Massachusetts to study Chemistry and Yale University in Connecticut to study Biochemistry, Biophysics & Cellular Biology.

Keira was also accepted on to the esteemed Stanford University Medical School’s Cardiothoracic Surgical Internship Program, in San Francisco.

Applying for all three summer placements took a great deal of planning, hard work and determination on Keira’s part.

This is an accredited program allowing Keira to study Chemistry which fulfils some of the requirements for both the Pre- Med and Medical School applications in the future.

‘I applied to all three Universities just hoping to be accepted by any one of them.

I was so very surprised when I had a choice. I never expected to be in that position.  I’m very grateful to all of the staff who helped with my references for my applications and I am very excited for this summer’.
