World Dancing Success
Congratulations to S1 pupil Kiri and her Dance Troop who won top awards at the World Dance Championships held in Portugal during the summer holidays.
Kiri and her squad successfully won the Scottish Dance title last Easter which qualified them through to the World Championships in Braga this summer.
With over 50 countries being represented, this was one of the biggest World Championships ever.
On the day, they managed to perform to their very best and execute all their moves successfully in both aspects of the discipline, namely Song and Jazz.
After both performances, they were awarded the overall title of World Champions in Song and 2nd place in Jazz.
A massive congratulations to Kiri and as they say on Strictly…..keep dancing!
