“Like all strong cultures, you never actually leave Hutchie, you just stop going in each morning. I think that is the essence of the Former Pupils’ Club and its aims.”
Hutchesons’ owes much of its continuing success to the strength of its vast community of alumni – former pupils for whom Hutchie still has a place in their hearts and friends, parents and supporters who contribute so much to the life of the School.
Our Development Office works hard to maintain close links with former pupils and we place great value on our alumni community. On their last day of S6 the pupils officially leave the school only to return moments later as Former Pupils. They are also invited back to a Christmas Catch-up reunion to share their experience of their first semester at university or talk about their travels or job.
