Open Studios 2018

Senior Art pupils put on a fantastic showcase this week at the Art Department’s Open Studios 2018.

Seeing ‘work in progress’ gave parents, teachers and the wider school community an insight into the amount of creativity and hard work which goes into producing high quality artwork for the national qualifications.

The art department corridors are packed with a range of beautiful expressive and design work from National 5, Higher Art & Design and Higher Photography to Advanced Higher levels.

S6 Enterprise groups including ‘Printed,’ and ‘Pawfix’ were joined by a younger, newly formed S3 enterprise group, ‘The Twilight Edition’. Its members designed a fabulous selection of festive gifts, proceeds of which will go to this year’s school charity.
