As part of the music curriculum P4 pupils have been introduced to the clarineo through two workshop sessions led by our Head of Wind and Brass, Ms Freeland.
The workshops introduce pupils to clarineos as a beginning step to learning a single reed instrument such as the clarinet or the saxophone.
The clarineo looks similar to the clarinet but has keys much closer together making it easier for smaller children to play.
Post workshop, we are offering pupils a set of 6 trial lessons in pairs to allow pupils a chance to see if they are suited and enjoy playing single reed instruments.
