The Scots Verse and Music Competition 2022

Our wonderful Primary performers took part in the annual Scots Verse and Music Competition last Friday at Kingarth Street.

Twelve pupils took to the stage to perform and it was an eventful morning as they performed a combination of musical arrangements and recited Scottish poetry in front of their teachers and fellow pupils.

P6 winner Sarah performed a rendition of ‘Scotland the Brave’ for her musical performance on the violin and recited the traditional Scottish poem ‘Rowan Tree’.

P7 winner April played ‘Trip to Miriam’s Reel’ on the fiddle for her winning performance and wowed the audience.

Congratulations to our winners and very well done to all our pupils who took part.
