Led by the school choir, the audience were treated to a service of lessons and beautiful carols. We heard from the Junior Chorus of pupils from Primary 4-7, the Hutchie Fellas and Hutchie Bellas, the Upper Voices and Hutchesons’ Choral Society made up of former pupils and staff. The Pipe Band also played the audience in before the service.
Well done to our pupils who read a lesson Kristy (P7), Georgia (S1), Emilia (S2), Callum (S3), Will (S4), Mikey (S5), Leila (S6) and to soloists Chloe (S3) and Rachel (S6).
Thank you to all the staff who led and supported the choirs involved, to Reverend Mark Johnstone and all at Glasgow Cathedral for allowing us the opportunity to hold our Carol Service in such an iconic, venue. Also, a special mention to FP Reverend David Cameron (C1976) for delivering the blessing.
Thank you to all those who attended and watched online. All donations will be shared between Glasgow Cathedral and our school charity BBC Children in Need.
