School Captains 2026

We are delighted to announce the appointment of the 2026-2027 School Captains.

Imogen and Cameron will take on the leadership role from last year’s Captains, Ava and Ainsley.

Our School Captains play a crucial role in everyday life here at Hutchie and work alongside our Senior Leadership Team to ensure pupil voice is heard. They also represent the School with pride at many events throughout the year, as well as inspire our younger pupils. Their role will be vital this year as we start the planning for Primary pupils joining Secondary pupils at Beaton Road in August 2027.

Alongside Imogen and Cameron, we are thrilled to announce our Vice-Captains, Oli and Anya, who will be joining them in their leadership roles.

Remarking on their new positions, Imogen commented,

“It is a privilege to take on the role of School Captain this year, and I am excited to encourage every pupil to belong, flourish and achieve. I look forward to working alongside my peers, SLT and teachers to strengthen our school community, represent our pupils and inspire the younger years to get involved and enjoy their time at school.”

Cameron also said,

“It’s an honour to be entrusted with the role of School Captain, and I look forward to working alongside an excellent team of prefects and representing all pupils across Hutchesons. I’m proud to build on our traditions and help lay new foundations for future success while striving for an inclusive community where every pupil can enjoy their time at Hutchesons.”

Congratulations to our new Captains and Vice-Captains. We wish them the very best of luck in their roles and cannot wait to see all they achieve in 2026-27.
