Ski Trip 2019

S3 and S4 pupils enjoyed a wonderful ski trip to Colorado during the February week. Here, Jessica (S3) writes about her experience.

On the February week, a group of S2 – S4s, accompanied by four teachers, set out for Colorado for the 2019 ski trip.

We had to meet at Glasgow Airport at 5:30am on Saturday the 9th, before flying to Denver and taking a bus ride to our hotel in Winter Park.

On the first day of skiing, we were split into groups based on ability, and set off up the mountains with our instructors, who were very helpful in teaching us how to ski moguls and terrain parks.

They took us all over the mountain. After skiing, we often had fun activities such as tubing, bowling and, of course, the memorable Denver Nuggets basketball game which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

At the end of the week, we went back to Denver, and shopped in Cherry Creek Mall. When we had to come back to Scotland, we were sad to leave, as the trip was great.
