At Hutchesons' the parents' association is called the Hutchesons' Grammar School Association (HGSA).
Every parent at Hutchesons' is automatically a member of the School Association. Its functions are to act as a route for communication between the School and parents on matters of common interest, and to organise activities in support of the school and pupils. If you have positive or negative feedback that you would like to be raised by the School Association, please use the email links below to contact the appropriate Year Rep. They will then bring the themes into School Association meetings with the Rector, Chair of Governors and Head of Primary.
The committee, made up of parent representatives (one for each year) and representatives from the staff and governors, meets around six times per session, and matters concerning parents, pupils and staff are discussed in an informal way.
Parent representatives are elected at the AGM to which all parents are invited.
