Hutchesons’ Grammar School has a long and illustrious history and the School Archive holds a wealth of material spanning our unique, evolving identity and history.

We are committed to the collection, preservation and maintenance of the records of the school, its activities and pupils.

We strive to record the school’s history and memory and hold a range of archive material from class registers and magazines to photographs, trophies and uniforms.

We actively encourage pupils at both primary and secondary school to engage with archive material and our aim is to provide a dynamic educational resource for the school and wider community.

The School Archive is situated in Beaton Road.

We are a busy school but you are welcome to visit by appointment and the archivist is always happy to answer any enquiries.
