Festival Wind Band Gold Award
The Festival Wind Band collected a Gold Award at the regional heats of the Scottish Concert Band Festival earlier this month.
The heats were held at the RSNO centre and the pupils were very excited to be playing in such a prestigious venue.
They performed four pieces including an arrangement of Mozart’s 4th Horn Concerto in which S6’s Katya played the solo part.

The band collected the Gold Award which allows them to take part in the finals in Perth Concert Hall in March 2020.
