The children talked about the British Science Association theme ‘Our Diverse Planet’ and explained that we are all special and different individuals.
P3M showed photographs of their visit to the science lab and showed a video about their recent Magnet science experiments.
Yousuf (P3) spoke clearly and promoted the class theme of Diversity. He explained that P1 -3 pupils were learning about Animals, plants and food chains.
P4 would find out more about the Australian bushfires and their causes. P5 and P6 would be creating art about Respect for each other and Diversity in school. P7 attempted to go plastic free for a week.
Cassie (P3) introduced our speaker, Mr Baldwin from Reconomy who came to discuss waste management. He enjoyed participating with P7 classes, the Fairtrade committee and Eco committee for fun and interesting workshops.
A lot was learned during the busy week held annually with everyone learning something new through fun experiments, challengesand discussions taking place during classes.
